NEXGEN Announces Major Expansion

As NEXGEN Tooling celebrates 10 years in business, we are preparing for our most ambitious chapter yet: a new 30,000-square-foot facility designed to dramatically expand our manufacturing capacity and support our customers’ continued growth.

The planned facility will accommodate up to 45 state-of-the-art CNC tool grinders, providing the foundation to increase NEXGEN’s overall production capacity by four to five times. This investment will allow us to manufacture more high-performance cutting tools, respond faster to changing customer demand and support larger production programs without sacrificing the quality and consistency our customers expect.

The expansion is also planned to include:

• A significantly larger finished-inventory area to improve product availability and order fulfillment
• Space for two to three additional coating centers
• New automation systems to increase productivity and manufacturing efficiency
• Advanced inspection technology to further strengthen quality control and process consistency
• Room to add future equipment and capabilities as customer needs evolve

Bringing additional grinding, coating, automation, inspection and inventory capabilities together under one roof will give NEXGEN greater control over the complete manufacturing process. It will also help reduce lead times, expand production flexibility and support the continued development of new cutting-tool technologies.

Over the past decade, NEXGEN has grown by remaining focused on a straightforward promise: delivering high-performance cutting tools without the premium prices. This expansion represents a major investment in that promise – and in the customers, distributors and manufacturing partners who have helped make our first 10 years possible.

The next chapter of NEXGEN Tooling is about more than a larger building. It is about creating the capacity, technology and infrastructure needed to continue growing alongside our customers for many years to come.
